One lie leads to another & then continues for ever until truth materialises. It's just similar to spider's web, who builds it but not been able to come out of it ever,dies trying. similarly, people lies once, has to lie again to hide the earlier lie which leads to continueity, hence it's so may B. Who knows when it began & when end ? May B since Adam & Eve's time or before too. However, there may B some exceptions too, as everyone on earth doesn't lie, all the time. U may find a few who's never lied or even doesn't know how to.

Im the one who like to lie alots, I lie becuae if I tell some one the truth then they will get hurt, some time i lie because of some thing relate to the money, and some i lie because i think its the best way to solve the problem and some time i lie because im afraid to lost some thing and someone i love. to lie some thing it doesnt mean bad at all.

All the people in the world don't have to lie all the time. "Why do people who ask questions make outrageous generalizations?" is a better question.

Bottom line, people lie out of fear or to get what they want. it can be money, love, greed, power, acceptance, approval or just because they don't want to hurt someones feelings. we all do it.
a habitual liar is something totally different and that person needs therapy.
