4000-5000 million years old, i.e. 4-5 billion years. But that's just a scientific estimation. Nothing is for sure. However if we are to put science aside and consider religion, it was calculated by the archbishop Ussher of Armagh in 1650 AD that the Earth was created by God in 4004 BC beginning on October 1st and ending with Adam's creation at 9:00 am on October 23rd. Our planet will die when the sun dies(some 5 to 6 billions of years from now). We humans, could also kill our planet, but it's quite unlikely since some forms of life are capable of resisting the worst environmental conditions.

Hello, the current age of the earth is 4.7 billion years old.The earth will exist until the sun gives out. That is 5 billion years from now.Our planet Earth might experience an asteroid or comet impact in the foreseeable future.Keiper belt objects enter our solar system from time to time and may strike the earth.Jupiter shields us from many catastrophic collisions.I hope that we as humans can stop fighting each other and join together in an effort to expand our knowledge of science and astronomy.Therin we might find solutions that will enable our survival as the Earth is all we have. With joint cooperative effort I believe in our human potential to achieve the engineering of vessels that could carry us to other nearby systems which have inhabitable bio and ecosystems.Though it may be far in the future to attain these abilities I think for now we should put down our weapons of war and work now towards securing the futures of generations to come.thanks for your time.Good day!

Planets don't die, stars die.
Our planet could go on forever, maybe our distant future relativies will find a way to move us safley from our star when it goes red giant and then a way to heat and light the planet when the star dies.

The earth can never have an age because god has created it for us to live in it and till humans or any living thing lives in it it won't die or rather it will die when god wants it to because everything is in gods hand.

The Earth is accepted by scientists to be around 4.5 billion years old.
Scientists also predict that it will take millions of years for another ice age and then........... it may ultimately become dry.
