Its another Internet navigator program. It simple to use and for some cases it seems faster and more stable than Internet Explorer. But its your choice which you like to use. There are still sites out there that uses Internet Explorer programming which prevents use of Firefox. (this is why I use both....) New IE is coming with tab system so IE 7 could be good too but so far (as I have tried the beta..Firefox seems faster loading)

Mozilla Firefox is a free, open source, cross-platform, graphical web browser. Firefox includes an integrated pop-up blocker, tabbed browsing, live bookmarks, support for open standards, and an extension mechanism for adding functionality. Although other browsers have some of these features, Firefox became the first such browser to include them all and achieve wide adoption.

If you decide to start using Firefox I will advise you to keep IE on your machine. Some sites do not work fully in Firefox which is when you need IE!
