Well it depends on which theory you believe in....creation or the big bang theory....did we come from God or monkeys? Did God create the earth or were all the continents once a major land mass? It depends on which side you want to look at it. Religious or scientific.

It's said that our toes have gotten smaller [compared to cavemen]because we wear shoes and they walked barefoot and put more strain on their bare feet. I have also heard that our pinkies will one day disappear because they are not very useful to humans...that's YEARS and YEARS away. I'm not sure if it'll ACTUALLY happen, but I did hear it in school! :)

We probably are evolving yes. I mean, the coccyx and the appendix appear to serve no purpose to the modern homo sapien, but they're unlikely to have developed for nothing. Chances are they are a remnant of our evolutionary past, and will slowly decline in future generations until they are gone.

Humans are also taller in general now. Obviously this is in response to our environment, e.g we generally have better access to food and nutrients that allow us yo grow this way and live longer, but again this is an adaptation to environment, and as such, an evolutionary progression.

Who's to say that people with Asperger's syndrome are not the next evolutionary step? Much of evolution occurs through mutation, and although we currently regard these people to be dramatically different, who's to say they are not just the first to start the progression towards the next evolutionary level?

I'd say we are constantly evolving, albeit a slow process, because we must adapt out environment in order to survive. We know viruses etc adapt/mutate/evolve to defy our medicines, so why presume we are any different, just because it occurs at a much slower pace?

Yes, we do. When a short person marries a tall person and their offspring is taller than the short person, evolution has taken place. When different races mix together to give rise to people that are neither one race nor the other, evolution has taken place. When our behaviors change due to a new doctrine that we have acquired, evolution has taken place. When steady and permanent changes take place, evolution has taken place. We humans are evolving at a snail 's pace, but still we're evolving.

Nothing remains stagnant...all things in life evolve in a natural progression or cycle through the laws of nature and the universe. So, yes...humans evolve.

Human evolution is nothing but mans'(including womens') imagination running wild through the time period of ages thought to be the scientific answer of how we arrived to the breathing and living stage of our lives. Evolution in humans DOES NOT EXIST!!
