Sally Field, hands down!
When I was a little girl, I idolized her in "Gidget". When I was entering my teens, I was a fan of hers when she played "The Flying Nun".
As time went by, I watched her evolve into a "serious" actress. Her performance in "Places in the Heart" moved me to tears, and is still one of my all-time favorite movies. She won a well-deserved Oscar for that role. I LOVE Sally Field - she's one of my favorite actresses EVER - and I feel as if I "grew up" with her!!!
