The main problem comes from the corruption and Indian politicians who love to talk philosophy when they should be getting to work. There is no organized plan to improve the life of the people, and there is only a faint attempt to control the population. The education system needs upgrading as degrees are not respected in some countries. Agricultural techniques need serious improvement. Instead of playing with nuclear weapons, the money would have been better spent to improve the country. The wealthy act much the same as the British did when they were present and remain blind to the true conditions. India has also developed the character of being less than honest and many merchants are distrustful of doing business in India.

the main ingredient for the progress of any country is its people ,and their effort to develop their country.in spite of our heavy population we are not in a position to eradicate all our social & economical gaps in our nations administration and are not so open minded as people of other developed nations ,we all must work for the upliftment of ourselves.in other words i can say that we ourself are reponsible the slow progress of our country ,so every one has to do part in the reconstruction of our country
