I am interested in starting a higher education school for the deaf in Singapore. I have a tied up with Sadeaf, a not-for-profit organization registered with National Council of Social Services in Singapore. Unfortunately, this venture requires a lot of funds, which is what I don't have.
I am asking for help or directions where I can apply for grants or funds to help to educate the deaf in Singapore. This is not for profit venture, and is expected to be self-substainable after the first 2 years. Any direction to possible donars, grant-giving organizations or potential sponsors are welcomed and very much appreciated. Please enlighten me.

You can approach MCYS with your proposal, they have SEF fundings for up to a maximum of $300k annually. You can also apply from NVPC which you can obtain up to $100k annually. There is no restriction for you to apply for both of them, meaning, once you are able to get funding approval of $300k from MCYS, you can still apply for an additional $100k from NVPC. But be sure you have a good proposal with a credible executive committee and people running the organisation in order to get approval for the funding. In both cases, you are encourage to be self sufficient in the long run as the funding is only there to help you as a seed funding to get you started. if you only think of Singapore....4get it!
The Singapore government is one of the most cold-blooded & dictatorial in the world, n they screw their own citizens with any ploy they could think of ...........from fines for just about anything ....... to defamation suits against the hapless opposition or international magazines!
The populace think only of money-related objects.......or what they call the Cs (car, condo, credit card, carat, career....)
....n all behave with the so-called "kiasu" attitude which could manefest in the form of the most disgusting & disgraceful acts ........ like seriously abusing maids........'keeping up' (w the most shameful behaviours) with the neighbors........deliberately littering in neighboring Johor (which they get fines at home!) ........ n boasting of the most bizzare impossibles!
Do you know what one ex-minister once wanted Singaporeans to do ..?
He wanted the graduate women to marry graduate men ..... to produce a cropful of geniuses!!!
ya geniuses of the Singapore kind........ he is likely to gain a cropful of asxholes.....just like the perverted materialistic ones mentioned above!
You still wish for funds from Singapore?........you may get more water out of the Sahara!
