The challenge to Chelsea is probably complacency within the squad, and as ever worrying about the Champion's League. As for teams to spoil their Premiership season, I would have to go with the consensus that Liverpool is the team that's closest to taking over the top spot. I'd also think that Arsenal will be more in the hunt, it's surprising what a boost a new stadium can give. I think Manchester United are in a bit of a crisis this season, and the offseason issues with Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Ronaldo can't have helped. I can also see Spurs playing spoiler to Chelsea in the cup competitions.

Well amazingly Man Utd gave them something to fight for during the last few months of last season. Although both Man Utd and Arsenal haven't spent much, they have players that can challenge Chelsea. Remember Arsenal have been unbeaten through the entire league run, something which Chelsea haven't even with their superstars.

the challenge will be from within cos they've too many superstars all lookin for the one spot on the team, this will be mourinho's last season cos he will be fired for someone who is actually tactfully astute and knows how to make a game changing substitution, who do play in midfield? who do you tell isn't playing? duff gone who will follow? Chelsea will have to beat themselves before they beat anyone else this season

to be honest i think man u will seriously fail to challenge chelsea for the title this season, whereas if liverpool can keep their act together then they could produce a title race

Just because they have an awesome squad with great players does not mean they are unbeatable- Real Madrid? Their biggest challenge is going to be themselves! Watch the mighty Liverpool, glory days are returning!

Arsenal and Liverpool..

Man Utd, unless they have very good form, else cannot make it. They should focus on getting qualification for Europe at the very least.
