Also do you know what you are asking? Telnet is used to connect to another machine to have a remote session. If it is a linux machine, I suppose you could run lynx and browse the net.

Ya you can connect to any computer using telnet but it will be in text mode only so what's the use........by the way do keep in mind web servers listens on port no. 80

start>run> type telnet et791.ni.utoledo.edu in run box click ok

et791.ni.utoledo.edu is the server change that part to the servername or IP address of your choice can do in command prompt also
