PRESENT GIRLFRIEND, and NOT current girlfriend

'current' (as an adjective) cannot be used to refer to a person : The conversation shifted onto what is current in football and cinema. Economists are satisfied with the current rate of growth.

'present' (as an adjective) is used to refer to people, stuations, things etc.: The present president of Germany is a woman. The present system has many drawbacks.

Either one works but ONLY if you're talking about her while referring to a time before she was your girlfriend (and that fact needs to be clarified) "my current/present girlfriend once dated Dodi Fayed" OR if you're planning to dump her or expecting to be dumped. "My current/present girlfriend is on Death Row, will you go to the prom with me?"

I don't think you should use either. They both imply that she is just a temporary girlfriend and you might not want to convey that message. "My girlfriend" is probably the best bet.

It is correct and precise just to say "My girlfriend". If it is a former girlfriend, then you can use the adjective "former" or "old".
