There's definitely money in it. In fact, you'd really have to try hard NOT to make money in it. The world is still expanding and people are making sure that NOTHING goes unrecorded. And we could always use more honest note-takers in the world.

Sure, but know that you may take some related classes that you may feel are pointless. My hubby was getting a degree in that at Washington State University, but he ended up taking classes for radio, regular journalism, and other classes that had nothing to do with his degree.

its good only if u are really interested and think have a good command over the language and ur presentation skills are good. journalism is a good career option as u get to interact will all kinds of people.
