No. Marijuana cafes have sprung up in cities across Canada but possession of pot is still a crime and those cafes are raided and owners jailed. Sorry, but as far as I know Amsterdam is still one of the few places where it is legal.

No you cannot legally smoke marijuana in any cafe in Canada, in fact it is now against the law to smoke cigarettes in any public building in Canada. While our laws about marijuana arent very severe, and most of the time you will not be arrested if you get caught smoking one joint of pot, you cannot smoke it in public and you will be arrested for trafficking or a large amount of pot.

PS for the people above who said Canada is lax about our laws you are dead wrong it is simply because marijuana is not really a bad drug and it is frankly stupid to send someone to jail for 20 years for smoking it, we tend to focus on the more harmful drugs like Cocaine, meth, acid..etc That way our jails arent filled with harmless people who like to smoke a joint once in a while. Also in case you havent noticed our crime rate is far lower than the USA.

no, it's illegal in cananda, but in Vancouver, i hear it's pretty easy to get away with. HOWEVER, smoking in a public place like a cafe would probably get you kicked out and/or turned in to the police.

Try Amsterdam for cafe weed.

There are pot cafe's in Vancouver, they aren't 'legal', but the police aren't so strict. As long as you aren't smoking on the street or being an idiot- then you're fine.
