help. Need advise on how to go about getting a divorce. I was pretty young when I got married, actually got married in Las Vegas and got seperated right after we got married, unfortunately I don't know where my ex lives since we have not kept in touch. I do not live in America and would like to get a divorce, unfortunately I have heard that you need to be a resident of a state to file divorce papers.
How do I go about getting a divorce?

I think many are under the impression that I am a girl, I am actually a guy, my wife was a lot older than me and I was in college on the opposite coast when we got married, I was young and stupid. And we have been seperated for 6 years of the 6 years we were married. I came to America for an education and left last year when I was done, I need to get a divorce but can' find her. I have looked for her at the address I last knew. How do I go about getting the divorce?

Well if it was stated that u need to be a resident to get a divorce, they will still have some way to work it out because goverment that unfair to woman . Secondly make a complain that your husband is missing. With that he himself will come back. As a husband he should provide your with everything, that is his duty. If no action is taken then go back to your country, they have so many non profit organisation who is willing to help.
