I just bought a new HP notebook, and it came with a little sticker that said to activate the return2me label. When I went to the address, Yahoo suggested that I first go to yahoo Asks and check it out. Has anyone used return2me, and is there reason for concern before I sign up?

What can it hurt? Someone might be nice and find it and want to return it.

Since 2001, Return2Me and Return2You has had the mission of helping good Samaritans return lost products to the rightful owner. Americans are carrying more portable electronic devices than ever before, from Smart phones, PDAs, and laptop computers to MP3 players, digital cameras and camcorders. As we acquire more of these ever smaller devices, they become more difficult to keep track of and the possibility of losing one of these expense devices or the priceless data or pictures they contain, becomes more likely. Adhering a Return2You label to your possessions greatly increases your chance of having your valuables returned to you!
