Reasoning:
Americans don't have national ID cards.
Homeless people generally don't have drivers licenses, social security cards or other documents.
Neither do illegal aliens.
The government deports the latter, but not the former. How can it distinguish the two?
Could the government technically deport all the homeless people to Mexico or China?
On the other hand, could illegal aliens claim to just be homeless?

*No, I have not seen the movie.
*Question is: How can the government tell?

I'm not trying to be offensive, but the government has to take very different action in either case, so I am very curious how they can tell. Seriously.

Most people can tell you where they were born, and details about their lives in the US, that illegal aliens can't. Most people that are citizens, have some record of who they are somewhere in a computer system somewhere. I guess it's a judgement call on their part. There are alot of homeless people that have their fingerprints on record somewhere in the US I would imagine. If they were to say, well this one has no ID he gets to stay.. wouldn't all illegals then get rid of any identifying papers they may have on them?

You're mistakened if you believe homeless people don't have drivers licenses, social security cards or other documentation. They may not have them on their person but they can get them through legal channels to prove citizenship. You're comparing homeless to illegal aliens. Homeless haven't broken the law. Illegal aliens have.

No the US government can't deport US citizens to another country. Why do you single out Mexico or China? You think the homeless people would be less homeless there? Based on what?

Sorry but I find very little about your reasoning logical.

Let me understand. You believe that homeless people should be deported to Mexico or China no matter what country they were born in? Well how would you feel if China or Mexico deported their functional illiterates or unemployed or maybe their people with A.I.D's to the USA? That's weird. Lots of homeless people are down on their luck for a time. Homeless people have various reasons for being homeless. If we could deport them some place, why not Australia or Iran?

the government claims it ought to never deport the 12 to 20 million unlawful aliens (no longer "immigrants", no longer "workers") because of the fact massive employer makes billions via exploiting the so-referred to as "low fee" distant places hard artwork. massive employer pays for political campaigns and so "there is no thank you to deport them". Even the president, our national Knucklehead, surely has made the declare that a manner or the different we choose criminal aliens to "do the roles no American will do." What a horrendous lie. There are no jobs human beings won't do; basically jobs they gained't do for slave wages. If the government had to flush the unlawful alien bathroom, all it may could do is enforce modern-day employment regulations and deny all government advantages to unlawful aliens. Lock up some dozen CEOs and lazy blue collar slobs and the country will take be conscious. cut back off the welfare and meals stamps and p.c.. and Maria would be wading decrease back around the Rio Grande as speedy as they could. end of tale.

do all illegals come frome china or mexico? homless americans cannot be repatriated, if anyone is in your country illegally, ie without the correct visas then they can be deported, even if they have a home, i dont believe having a home or not having a home qualifies you as an illegal immigrant to stay in that country, the other point is having or not having a credit card or driving licences or proof of who you are is not illegal.

Although they may not have ID cards, many of the homeless do have someone who can identify them as an American. Most also remember their social sec #s.
