Stay focused and get into a good habit of exercise, eating healthy, drinking lots of water, and getting enough sleep (at least 7-8 hours). Mix up your workouts by combining cardio and strength-training. Do different exercises to work different muscles and keep your body guessing -- you'll burn more calories that way and get a better workout. On days you do heavy cardio, do a lighter strength-training workout and vice-versa. Eat less calories than you burn--you should only lose a maximum of 2 pounds per week.
Sometimes, when I have trouble getting myself to workout because i feel lazy, I just get up and do it. I don't even think about it because once I start working out, I've already made one step forward. Don't get discouraged, just take one step at a time. Good luck!

Here is what I do, Im a guy by the way but it will work with females too. The key is in the food you eat. Do not eat junk food. Eat lots of protien and carbohydrates. Eat stuff like lean chicken breats, eggs, rice, potatoes etc. Also eat alot of calories, but food that is good. This will make you body stop relying on your healthy fats and eat the good food you send down there. This will give you good metabilism. Work out 20 minutes a day with an intese sesion of running to the point your very winded, but dot stop go the 20 minutes. Also eat in 6 meals every 3 hours instead of the basic 3. Those six meals are much smaller portions then what would be in you average meal in the 3 meal system. Lift weight during this period to if you want muscle. Make sure you only do 5 reps or less and in 4 sets. FREE WEIGHT ONLY

I think the best way is to cut down on your food intake. If you normally consume rice , try to reduce the servings. Eat more vegetables. Focus on your diet first. When you feel that you have actually control the diet then you can move forward into planning an exercise regime. give yourself ample time. No one loses weight overnight. Once you start on a proper diet you will then gain confidence as you have actually prove that you can actually disiplined yourself...
