Very true. The jews then called the "Bani-Isreal" under the prophet Mosses inhabited that land 3000 years ago. Then entered the Romans about 2700 years ago and enslaved the Bani-Israel. Most were banished from the land and scatered all over europe in form of slaves who would row Roman vessles.
The left over converted to Christanity and later to Islam after the muslim conqurer Saladin won the land from the Church in the 1400's.
Then in 1948, after the fall of the muslim Turkish Empire, the Jews were gathered from all over the world by the winners of the war (USA and UK) and setteled in the land after razing homes of the Palestanians. From then there has been constant battle between the Arabs and the Israelis over patches of the land.

Thats the history, unbaised.

As a community American I possibly does no longer options that yet it truly isn't any longer the issue. On an earthly foundation, The Jews were persecuted (like killed, raped and their houses burned down) from the time the Romans ejected them from Israel in 70 ad until eventually after WW2. England owned, managed, had the land that Israel and the Arab international locations now occupy. It changed into determined that the purely way the Jews might want to be loose from being killed changed into to have their own united states of america. The UN has no authority to provide or take land from all and sundry yet England agreed and Israel got here decrease back to existence in 1948. On a non secular foundation, God controls who lives the position and God gave the land of Israel to the 12 tribes of Israel. God suggested interior the Bible that the Jews might want to be dispersed out of Israel yet ultimately He might want to carry them decrease back. it truly is what God did in 1948, He opened the way for the 12 Tribes of Israel to go back to the Land of Israel. I consider you, to assert you should offer me some land because I lived there 2000 years in the past would not make experience.

Well if all those americans that support the Israelis right, to their own country in the area known as palestine, would be willing to give America back to the native americans that lived there 2000 years ago, you might have a tad more credibility.

Personally, I do not give a rats *** who lived where 2000 years ago, who gives a **** if some mythical diety promised it or not? it's high time Muslims, Jews, Christians all grew-up and became humans. They are all behaving like spoiled, badly behaved children with powerful weapons!

If god does exist, do you really think he would be proud of how any of you (Jew or Muslim) are behaving right now?

What sense is there in generations of people killing each other over disputed claims of who lived where 2000 years ago?

We should write off the last 2000 years of claims, remove all national borders in the region and call the whole area a new country called middleeastland and allow Jews, Muslims, Christians and whomever else to share the land.

Israel is also a democracy. In a true democracy nobody should be better than anyone else. Jews, Christians, and Arabs need to be treated with respect. In America we are a multi-cultural nation where people share the land, freedom, and prosperity no matter what their religion, race, sex, etc. This is why ethnic tensions in America do not become all out wars.
In Israel many Palestinians live in refugee camps basically like prisoners. Tolerance is not a word there. When you see the difference in wealth and prosperity, how can you blame them?

Why can't there be coexistence, why can't Jews and Muslims live in one country side by side ? Is it impossible to imagine a multi-cultural Israel ?

Yes, and for thousands of years they have been fighting each other.
I hope they whip Hesbolah real good this time, but I guess that is just a pipedream, they more likely will agree to a truce in about a week or so, than reorganize and start all over again in a year or so.

What is very scary is that a people (the Jews) who suffered the holocaust and want everyone to remember it have themselves persecuted the Palestinian people just for living in their own country.
Maybe one day somepne will build a statue in rememberance of those who have died in the cause of Israeli nationalism

So if we apply the same thinking everywhere else in the world, we could start by giving America back to the Indians and say it's OK for them to bomb all the other people, including Canada and Mexico, all the buildings and utilities until it all returned to buffalos, wigwams and open prairies.

If someone turned up on your doorstep after 2000 years wanting the land back, don't you think you'd be a little reluctant? Would you like to be homeless?
