I don't believe they should be spared for disclosing where the bodies are. I think human nature will always negotiate with them in an attempt to bring what can be superficial at best closure to the victims. I think most offer up that information in an attempt to prolong their lives and allowing that is an injustice to those they've been found guilty of murdering in a court of law. I am a proponent of the death penalty and have no issues with God on the matter. I am not an eye for an eye man but there is a difference between lethal injection and what these savages do to their victims. I don't think they should be spared and I think justice for those victims they've been convicted of should be our goal. I am not naive enough to believe that will ever happen we are a culture with a taste for details "dirty laundry". It's for this reason they will have book deals and deferred dates with the death penalty. I also think in many cases allowing a killer to tell his stories is allowing him to again victimize those he's killed. It allows him one more time to see the suffering in the faces of families and that is his goal. They live to see others suffer.

2267 Assuming that the guilty party's identity and responsibility have been fully determined, the traditional teaching of the Church does not exclude recourse to the death penalty, if this is the only possible way of effectively defending human lives against the unjust aggressor. If, however, non-lethal means are sufficient to defend and protect people's safety from the aggressor, authority will limit itself to such means, as these are more in keeping with the concrete conditions of the common good and are more in conformity to the dignity of the human person. Today, in fact, as a consequence of the possibilities which the state has for effectively preventing crime, by rendering one who has committed an offense incapable of doing harm - without definitely taking away from him the possibility of redeeming himself - the cases in which the execution of the offender is an absolute necessity "are very rare, if not practically non-existent." Please read the ENTIRE paragraph 2267, as well as the ENTIRE SECTION on Legitimate Defense that the paragraph is in before passing judgement. Clearly the Catechism teaches that there are circumstances in which captial punishment is permissible - BUT - that doesn't mean all Catholics 'have to' endorse the death penatly. It seems to me that your beef is with the Supreme Court; that is to say this is more a LEGAL issue.

If it an assisination with a motive, political gains, rape & kill, abduction & kill the victim - even the criminal discloses the location where the bodies could be - they have to be hanged to death - they will die slowly in twenty four hours - no mercy should be shown on them who ever they are and what ever connections they have.
Terrorist activitists involved in looting, extortion, killing the victim with a motive, mass killing - should be burnt alive slowly - You may be feeling I am inhuman to propose such a non sense. This is the answer coming out of my heart for the death of my very close relative who is a well educated, highly cultured, charming lady who had a female issue of 15 months old. Still we are in the shock and God only can help us to recover and give some solace!!!!

If the law says that killers be sentence with death penalty then there's no reason not to implement that law whether they would tell where the bodies of the victims are.

No way! the most just give them a choice of how they wanna die. If killers can get away from such a sin so easily, the world would be full of criminals and dead bodies.

Killers should never be spared if they kill deliberately. Accidents may be considered.

No, they did the crime, just because they are willing to tell where they dumped their victim doesn't make them any less guilty of the crime.
