On a pc there is a "Print Screen" button on the keyboard which allows one to take a picture of any window or web page. Is there a similar button with a Mac Keyboard, assuming of course that Mac Keyboards are different from Pc keyboards. Also how can I save and paste that picture into a MS Word Documents. Thanks in advance to anybody out there who can help.

On both OS X and OS 9, there are different kinds of screen shots you can take but I'm going to concentrate on the PC equivalent of print screen. With the method outlined below, the image of the screen will be saved to the desktop as a png file.

Mac OS 9:

Press: ⌘+⇧+3

⌘ = Apple or Command key
⇧ = Shift Key
--------------------
Mac OS X:

The default key-combination for taking screen shots on OS X is:    ⌘+⇧+3. The great thing about OS X is if you're not happy with the default key combination, you can create your own. Here's how:

1. Open system preferences by clicking   → "System Preferences" on the menu bar.

2. Now select 'Keyboard and Mouse'. Under 'Screen Shots', click on 'Save picture of screen as a file' to highlight it.

3. Double-click underneath 'Shortcut' to edit the shortcut keys. Simply use your keyboard to select a new key-combination.

4. When you're done, close system preferences.

Getting images into MS Word:

To insert an image into MS Word, click "Insert" → Picture → From File on the menu bar. Locate the image on your computer and then click on "Insert" button.

did you try in its help?
believe me MAC's help is much useful than Microsoft's.
Are you running your mac on an Intel based computer or is an Apple itself? you c the keys on Intel based PC resemble different keys when you are running Mac. So you may need to find the right combination there in.
