Shave with a good unscented lotion because sometimes fragrance in products irritate skin especially down there. I have also heard of using alcohol to clear shave bumps which would dry them up. You can try it but I imagine it will burn. Stick with the lotion. And shave the way your hair grows, not against

Don't shave as often, let the hair grow out for a few days in between. Wait until the end of the shower to shave, because the hair is softer then. Use a good razor and a good shaving cream. Men's razors are better then women's because they are sharper(i got that from a stripper).
Umm that's all i have cuz sometimes i get the same problem. If you're brave enough wax, you won't get the razor bumps or the cuts.

It's tricky and the best of us still get that damn razor burn. First things first, make sure you're shaving with some good cream or soap... DO NOT dry shave as this will cause HORRIBLE razor burn (red bumps). But be careful as to what you use down there, not everything was meant for genital shaving. Secondly.. make sure your razor is new or newer.. a dull or overly used razor will cause the red bumps too.
One thing thats really good is to sit in warm water for 15 minutes before shaving, this will soften up your skin and make it easier to shave.
My last tip would be, try not to overshave one area. If you're constantly trying to shave one spot, stop, this will cause bad razor burn.. try to get the hairs in a couple strokes.
Oh and I read one answer that said something about waiting a few days in between to shave.. that is a very good tip. Depending on how fast your hair grows back in, I find I have to wait 3 days otherwise if I try to shave 2 days after, the hair hasn't grown back in much therefore I'm not shaving much, it's razor burn crazy and can hurt.
Hope this helped! :)

Use a lot of shaving cream to soften your skin before you shave. Your skin might be too dry and that's why there are red bumps and cuts. Apply moisturiser after u are done bathing everyday.
