My wife, who I love more deeply than I can express, has this really frustrating trait. She will get an idea in her head that is simply wrong. She will react to situations as if this idea were true. This causes me to give the WTF response. She tells me what she was thinking, I explain to her that things just are not that way, and she and I agree that it was just a misunderstanding. All is well. For a day or two. She then begins to react as if her idea was true again.
In the way of a vague example:
She will become convinced that I did (X) because I think that she is (Y). I explain to her that I did (X) because of (Z), and, not only that, but I have never thought (Y) of her. We agree. All is said and done until two days later when she has a fit over some situation that vaguely resembles (X). I will ask her what wrong and she will say that she hates that I think (Y) of her.
Is this norma?

remove "norma?" add "normal?"

I actually laughed out loud about the congratulatory messages about her suspected pregnancy. However, her behaviors have been going on for 7 years and we have, as yet, been unable to get pregnant.

Sounds like there's a little bit of a trust issue there.
She may need constant reassurance from you.
She also may have issues that she needs to deal with that have to do with her and her life before knowing you. You shouldn't have to pay for that - but as her husband, you should help her with it. Don't allow this "trait" of hers to always be an argument.
There's something else there that she really needs to deal with.
Try and help her with it or get her some help like counseling, or something. It's probably not normal - but it's common.
Women are very complex. Always try to remember how and why you fell in love with her in the first place.

No offense, but is it possible she has some kind of mild learning disability? The other possibility is low self-esteem, which is hard to deal with. Her behavior is not what I would call normal, or rather, common. I have a family member who is somewhat like this. It's very hard to deal logically with someone who persists in irrational thinking, but I don't have any solution. Frustrating, but love her anyway and continue to have patience.

there might be a possibility that she might have something wrong with her no offense but to be on the safe side i would see if she would go to a shrink i could help and save your marrige cause if shes like that every two days then it sounds like something is wrong. Do you think that you have given her a reason to think the things she does cause if not then i strongly suggest you take her to a shrink best of luck

hmmmm...I thought I was stubborn. No it's not normal it's irrational and not entirely fair to you that she's a bit psycho. But stop looking at it as a "women are complicated" thang and realize that people are complicated. Surely this is driving you nuts and you need to actually talk to her about it. Probably it will go really badly but if you're nice about it it might just start to sink in.

Oh, no. I know we have our views about issues. It sounds that she seems to feel you don't think very highly of her. She seems to have a low self- esteem of her self. maybe you can help make her feel more confidant , yet she has to actually convience her self. I can understand your frustration.

It's very normal because she doesn't listen and neither do I, I always say I don't care what you say it's how I feel about what you said or did. Good luck!!

I think this is normal only if she is pragnent, or she might be quite bored with her life.
