If I cut-back my "Shasta Daisy's" after they have bloomed will they bloom again?

I have noticed that there is "new growth" on many different stalks. If I cut them back to the new growth, will that make them bloom again?

Maybe. With alittle TLC, a dash of fertilizer & a long enough growing season- you might get another round of blossoms. -At worst, your efforts should result in a particularly NICE crop of daisys NEXT year. -So go for it! :)

Shasta daisies are a perrenial. I cut mine back to ground after the first hard frost. In the meantime deadhead the fading blossoms to encourage them to keep blooming. Of couse you didn't say where you live so I don't know if this info is pertinent to you.I would never cut them back during the blooming season.

IT'S VERY POSSIBLE, A LOT OF PERENNIALS WILL CONTINUE TO BLOOM IF YOU KEEP THE FLOWERS CUT OFF AND THE LOWER GROWTH MIGHT PRODUCE NEW FLOWERS IF IT'S GROWING RIGHT NOW. BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT TOO MUCH OFF IF YOU TRIM THE DEAD GROWTH. YOU CAN LOOK FOR ANY LITTLE NEW BUDS, KEEP WATERING IT AND SEE.
