It's hard to get a bartnedering job in Vegas PERIOD. Until you get established here. I don't see where that would limit you, you just have to be honest.
Now if it was something like Grand Theft probably not...they don't want to put ppl around their machines (they surround every bar here) that has been convicted of stealing.
Your best bet to get established here is find a local bar/grill that will hire you. They all have gambling around there bars and work some there and during that time apply to every casino w/an opening. With the local experience you should get your foot better in the door.

Sure, just don't tell them about your felony in canada cause a convicted felon isnt aloowed a liquor license in the united states

You may not even get into the states with a felony record. Legally that is.

Casino license is no, no way. I've been served at Texas bars by dudes I knew who were just released. I didn't care and I don't think anybody else cared.

I'm 99% sure that they only check within the USA. I think you are good to go, but keep your secret to yourself, lots of competition for good jobs in Vegas.
