No. You could use kerosene in a diesel engine, but not a petrol engine. (The USAF has used jet fuel, aka kerosene, in virtually all of its diesel engines for many years. I worked the pilot project for the conversion in the 1980s.)

Contrary to what some others have said, it won't blow up and you won't die and it won't damage the engine. It just won't run.

Not without some serious modification. Kerosene has a different combustion temperature than gasoline(petrol) so there is a good chance it would cause an explosion.

No becuase the compustion rate is not the same as gasoline the fule dose not burn as hot.
