Basically, I am a rap artist from Edmonton, Alberta. I have two albums out in the streets( one is a solo album and the other is my group Flip tha Script's album, don't get me wrong its not like they're burnt cds or anything like that. They are actually manufactured cds that I invested my own money into.) I have performed all over my city in numerous clubs and hallparties and had one of my songs bumpin on our top 40/urban radio station up here. I have also performed on Tv twice as well have a video that we've never released because we are not backed by a label or distrubution company. It really does suck!!!! Peopla say "yo Rakesh, how come you still workin if you have 2 albums out? You know what I say? Cause I got to eat!!!" And thats the truth. All I want is the right person to hear my music and I swear all it takes is one listen. Thats it. I swear Ill make you millions!!!!!

If I was you, I'd put together a complete media kit, including CD, DVD, photography, brochure and the whole bit and send it to every record company in the United States and least 10 times each.

Get ur A.s.s up n make some copies send em to record companies dude. I was like u sometime back. I was waitin for someone to come n pull me up. But later i realised that untill n unless u run around with ur stuff u can't make it to a big scene. Now am doin a project for a record company here. Not big money tho. But am happy. When u send ur stuff to rec companies, u'd get only rejection. Don't loose hope. Keep playin hard. U'll win as long as u have that spirit. Cheers bro. Meet ya sometime up there.

"I preserve listening to all this screaming approximately Beck wanting to be taken off the air for speculating that Obama is a racist."... turns out I heard the equal factor from the Right while Letterman made a comic story approximately the Palins. What's the obstacle? BTW, West took plenty of warmth for his outrageous comment on the time. Why won't Beck?

I can't give you a record deal ... but keep up the hard work. You seem like the kind of person who will make something of yourself. You are thinking outside of the box, looking in all directions to realize your goal. good luck

You are not looking in the right place. Bono turns up once in a while but this place clearly doesn't boast of many music biggies.
