What you need is called a bail bondsman or woman. They give you the money for bail, and in return, you guarantee that you will not leave the jurisdiction and will appear at all court dates.
Bailbonds usually require 10% of the bail amount in cash, but a bailbonds service will take property, such as titles on cars or homes as collateral. Since in your husband's case, we are talking about $10,000 you are going to have to come up with some fairly good property for collateral if you don't have that amount of money in the bank.
Since $100K is a bail amount used for serious felonies, I suspect your husband has been accused of something pretty serious. Bailbonds companies will do a risk assessment and decide if they want to help you out or not. If they decide that your husband is not a good risk, that is, that he has a good chance of jumping bail and not showing up for court, they may refuse to deal with you, in which case he will just have to stay in jail and wait for his court date. If this is the first time he has been arrested for a serious felony, and he does not have an extensive criminal record, or a record of not showing up to court, you may be able to find someone willing to help you out.
There are some cases where bail is allowed on a cash only basis, which means a bond for 10% of the amount is not accepted. In that case, you would need the whole $100K in cash. Those cases are pretty rare, though; usually courts just deny bail altogether.
Bailbonds companies are located in the yellow pages. Start calling around, and see if anyone can help you out.
