none of my security software recognises the threat,here are my tools:mcafee pro,ad-aware se pro,defender beta,spybot,ccleaner,abexo,i even tried malicious software remover from microsoft,and stinger,could this synchost exe be simply because it's an indicator of my p2p downloads and uploads? and isn't malicious at all? any info is greatly apprieciated.

"synchost.exe" Its Ripjac Trojan is likely a Trojan and as such, presents a serious vulnerability which should be fixed immediately! Delaying the removal of synchost.exe may cause serious harm to your system and will likely cause a number of problems, loss of data, loss of control or leaking private information.

You should avoid using p2p systems, because the software people use to do it with comes from questionable sources and may have huge security flaws.

you are right ...you are infected from a trojan called Backdoor.Ripjac and you can remove it by installing symantec antivirus from their site.
here is more inforamtion in which they discussed about removing it from registry value.

It is a malicous trojan, and you do need to get rid off it.
