i have news for you...my friends are in the navy....and we went to a gay bar.....**** the whole bar was their ship mates...most of the navy i would say 70 percent is gay, bi or lesbian.

Well, I guess it would be fine if some of the people who were in charge of our Navy were homosexual. I mean we do have to get past this nonsense of "don't ask, don't tell." But I don't think as a group, we homosexuals want to band together and form a leadership team to take over. I'll be fine with having both gay and straight people at the top.

my best friend joined the australian navy a few months ago... i don't know if you're making a connection with the song "in the navy" or anything like that... but the navy isn't based around homosexuals... I'm gay and i'm in another line of work.

In what fashion - - why give the franchise to any one group - - isn't the Navy running o-k with a mix of straights & gays - - wouldn't it be better to lobby for full acceptance of Gays & Lesbians at all levels of resposibility. Should not ability be the criteria instead of hysteria over one's choice of a bed-mate. Peace.
