I bought a DELL desktop E510 three months ago, but now it doesn't access to certain programs and files, like Internet Explore and some local disks. Also the speed of the computer is so slow! I don't know what should I do with it?

Is there any PC expert to help, thanks a lot!

You're probably infected with spyware or viruses. Get some freeware and run some scans. Google for these. AVG, Avast, Bazooka, Ewido, Spyware Guard, Spybot, Ad-Aware. Calling Dell if it is a virus or spyware probably wouldn't help if they're like Gateway. Gateway doesn't troubleshoot viruses or spyware for free even under warranty because it's not their fault it got in there and it's not a hardware issue. If Dell is the same way you'll have to pay for tech help through them.

Dell is not good - Give back to them and get Intel or other else. Some of Dell Computer does not support some Operating systems and programs. I am tested and unlikely trusted.

Computer Slow

Download and then run startup.exe (FREEWARE) at:

http://www.mlin.net/startupcpl.shtml......

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

Other things to try:

1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

ALL ELSE FAILS - RELOAD YOUR O/S (WINDOWS) AND THEN REINSTALL ALL OTHER PROGRAMS YOU NEED/USE!
