It would depend on the song and how loud you can sing. I would say if the song has a rock beat then i would say a band but if it's more of a country song then go acoustic. and also if your a quiet singer you should go acoustic because it wouldn't sound good if your voice was being taken over by the music so you couldn't understand the words

Jeez-one Q at a time,eh? good-no,bass isn't less complicated. definite,in many cases you have much less strings-yet for that reason, each and every word you play should be on the button. With electric powered guitar, you may continually conceal any mistake or average 'pass over' with a ability-chord...you may no longer try this with a bass. additionally-a bass line stands proud-this is the only 'deep' tool interior the band,so that's heard-and felt] above AND under different instruments. even with the undeniable fact that,in spite of this-I prefer to play bass. i actually get a large kick out of laying down a bass line it quite is complicated yet has the soundness the different individuals are following. Plus,i like status in front of a bass cab and experience the low chords hitting good interior the chest. Now-are you able to sing and play bass...properly why no longer? Sting Phil Lynott Lemmy basically a number of the large singer/bass-gamers. shifting right into a band...properly,that relies upon on no count in case you may surely PLAY,as in repeat your overall performance word-for-word,chord-for-chord,each and each time each and each time. anybody can 'play' a bass or guitar-this is being waiting to repeat the overall performance each and each time that makes you a participant as adversarial to somebody who can PLAY. you prefer to be in a band?-make your self so good that they arrive to YOU.

Play bass. I've played guitar for over 35 years, and if I had to do it all over again, I'd play bass. 80 million frikkin guitar players out there, and good luck trying to find a decent bassist. You want work??? Play bass. You wanna spend all your time getting turned down because someone else is "better"??? Play guitar.
