I have a son named Caleb and was thinking of Caden for my future son...do those sound too much like each other?

I don't reccommend that you name the second one "Calen". That is way too similar to "Caleb".
You should want your sons to feel like seperate individuals and not be always reminded of one another. They should each have their own unique name to distinguish their differences and not feel too much alike or to not feel like one is better than the other. Your children shouldn't live in the shadows of eachother.
Just a thought.
My son's name is Marlon August. If I have another son(in the future), I'm thinking of naming him Blair or Milo.

Caden is a great name and so is Colton but I really love Caden and had even thought about naming my baby Caden. Caden Daniel or Caden Michael
