We have moved from one house to another that we are buying and in the process I discovered we have a serious case of earwigs!! Is there any way to get rid of these pesky little things safely? I refuse to let any of our things come into the new house until we find a way to get rid of these!!

You know, I tried so many different ways myself to rid-off so many kinds of insects, bugs, etc. and I found out only one solution will do. It's called "Lampe Berger" and this diffuser will surely drive insects out of your house, eliminate air pollutants and brings benefit to your health (non-poisonous alcohol).
Try the essential oil called "Pyrethre", because it is meant as an insect repellant. I've tried it and it works. It's even Halal (Muslims-approved) and safe for everyone.
I've even became a franchisee of this product and trust me, sceptical cities like Hong Kong have been rating this product No.1 Health product in the market (since it helped in combating deadly viruses during the avian flu epidermic).

Spray with bug killer and sweep and wash everything. they are not usually hard to get rid of. They don't multiply fast so if you see any , after spraying, just sweep them up and throw them out. They usually stay around moist areas. So keep all moisture dried up.

You have to call in a proffesional exterminator or they will come back and back again ! Anyways too, if you are moving into our own new home, wouldn't you want it 100% bug proof ?

Good luck :)

most spray products have pics. of the insects they kill - but you may want to call a professional and have him/her do a complete inspection of the place- should have been done by the people selling the house..

You really have nothing to be worried about. These little bugs eat aphids and other pests. Please read:

Have a good move and enjoy your new little helpers. They rarely come in the house, they prefer the garden. Just vacuum the house first. :)
