* A Rich Moisturizing Night Cream For Dry Skin *
This cream is soothing and fragrant. Both almond and sunflower oil have a moisturizing, softening action on the skin. Almond oil also has a reputation as a cleanser. The lavender oil is soothing.
3 tablespoons lanolin
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1 tablespoon almond oil
1 teaspoon oil of lavender
Melt the lanolin in a small bowl over a pan of hot water. Add the sunflower and almond oils and beat together. Remove from the heat and continue beating as the mixture thickens then stir in the oil of lavender. Pour into a sterile pot and screw on the lid when the cream is cold.
* Recipe For Beautiful Feet *
Everyone wants to have smooth skin and beautiful feet :-)
If you take 1 cup Lemon Juice, Cinnamon (for smell), 2 tablespoons (or less) olive oil, 1/4 cup of milk, and water you can make a wash that leaves skin refreshed and fragrant (the amount of water does not matter).
If you do not like the cinnamon smell you can replace it with another spice, perfume, or flower petals such as roses.
After you make it, you can put it in a tub were you can soak your feet or body.
Next dry your feet or rinse them with water and a MILD soap.
After a few weeks of doing this your skin will be silky smooth.
* A CURE FOR CRACKED HEELS *
A common problem in the winter months is cracked heels. Here are a few ways to combat the problem.
. Soak your heels in lukewarm water and use a pumice-stone to scrub off dead skin to smooth the heels or use a foot scrub after soaking the feet in lukewarm water. Apply a deep moisturizing lotion or Vaseline and put on the socks to cover it for sometime. This method will protect the feet from excessive dryness.
. You could also heat up some Coconut oil, add some wax into it and after cooling apply it onto your heels.
. Another solution is to melt paraffin wax and mix it well with little mustard oil. Apply on the affected area of your heels. Wash it off in the morning. Do this for 10 or 15 days and see the difference.

Actually this is going to sound unusual, but the sand from the beach works great. I went there with crack heels before but after spending time at the beach it went away because of the sand that gets on your feet. If you think that's outrageous, you can probably go to Walmart and pick up a heel filer. It's more rough just for your heels. It'll smooth it out. Then after doing that put on some sort of extra moisturizing cream or lotion that's like thick. That should also do the trick. Oh, and while you're at Walmart, you should try picking up some slippers if your house has carpet flooring since that's the usual way many people crack their heels.

Soak your feet in warm, sudsy water at least once a week and scrub off as much dead skin as you can. This sounds a bit strange - but those nutmeg graters are the best for the job. Also, every night put petroleum jelly on your feet and sleep in clean white socks. If the jelly is too sticky or gooey for you, try some other ultra-moisturizing balm. Eventually, your feet will be supple and smooth.

Alright, I know someone with this problem. So, what you want to do is several things. You can pick and choose. First, you can choose to use Vitamin E Oil. It's cheap and readily available. The thing with this is it's a little slimy, but it's FAST. In a few days you'll notice the difference. The way Vitamin E Oil works is it is absorbed into your skin, and replaces the natural Vitamin E your skin makes, or in your case, doesn't make enough of. The Vitamin E is the vitamin that keeps skin healthy. (also helps scars) It helps your skin remake itself. You put it on at night before bed. Your feet will be covered in oil, so you would wrap them in Ceran Wrap, and then hold that in place with a sock. (doc told me this) that will keep the oil on your feet. another thing to do is Vaseline. This takes a little longer, and feels gross. But it also works. It adds and keeps moisture in your feet. Put it on before bed and put a clean white sock on each foot, to keep the Vaseline on your feet. The last thing to try is the old fashioned night cream on the feet and then a clean white sock. They actually sell, at Safeway, a pair of moisturizing socks, made specifically for this purpose, of keeping feet moisturized. I would buy those anyway, to keep the cream/oil/vaseline on your feet. Hope this helps!

get a GOOD moisturizer.. doesn't have to be expensive just works well.. I like Vaseline Intesive Care.. SLATHER ON TONS and then wear cotton socks to bed at night.... have a bath the next morning and use a LARGE file or pumis stone and file off all the dead skin ( or you can just soak your feet for half an hour)... then put on more lotion... soft feet... or do what I love to do.. get a pedicure including a parifin wax on the feet.. it feels SOO good and gets rid of all the dead dry skin.. then just moisturized your feet every night before bed! Good Luck!!

i have to tell you that since i started working at bath&body works and trying their products, i havent had dry skin since! there are several different products made just for feet! B&BW, in case you don't know, has a line of products called "true blue spa". shea butter is a key ingredient in nearly all the products, which are like having spa treatments in the comfort of your own home. i've used this foot regimen for months and couldn't be happier with how soft my feet are.
start with Toe the Line foot scrub to get rid of more callused areas and exfoliate without scrubbing too hard. next, use Tough Love-it's got glycolic acid in it to gently work away at those calluses and rough spots while moisturizing at the same time. and finally, finish up with the Cracked Heel Treatment-it's one of the thickest creams i've ever seen. and unlike neutrogena or aveeno, it doesn't have a "weird"smell. i don't like those weird smells. i even use it on dry patches on my knees and elbows. it's absolutely amazing and you won't believe how effective it is!
you'll have picture perfect feet in no time!
if you don't want to use b&bw products, just make sure you get a scrub for your feet (something with harder, bigger grains than regular exfoliating scrub), and some really really thick lotion/cream to put on.
and make sure you apply at night too! it gives your feet plenty of time to soak up the moisture. and that goes for full-body as well. nighttime is the best time to slop on the lotion and chapstick for sure. hope this helps!!!

He will have to soak his toes to take a look at to melt the subject, then rub within the vaseline or anything and regularly positioned socks excessive. He will have to regularly put on socks and now not pass naked-footed. I am a diabetic and used to have this hindrance until I determined to repair it. Avon has a particularly well callus cream, however he will have to use it day-to-day, there also are callus and cracked toes lotions you'll purchase. I desire you success, you'll eliminate it, simply ought to be persistant.

#1: get rid of dry skin. Unless you get rid of dry, dead skin you're doing absolutely nothing. Then when all the dry dead skin is gone, over-moisturize, wear socks when you don' need your feet out, and enjoy! hey, if that doesn't work, love your cracked-up feet anyway

get a pedicure about once ever 1-2 weeks. It helps condition the skin. If you cannot afford it, go to a beauty college they're students, they do a good job, and it only costs like 8 -10 dollars
