I think most people automatically assume that someone is being judgmental if they say something negative about homosexual activity. That is being even more judgmental...so please make the distinction between mindless gay bashers (which are fewer than) people who have a legitimate right to express their views.

If I say that homosexuality is an emotionally and physcially risky lifestyle...does that make me a homophobe? A bigot? A judgmental jerk? No, it doesn't...and anyone who accuses me of being so is most likely the judgmental jerk.

Unfortunately...homosexuality has been under more fire than other sexual immoralities...but that's because special interest groups are bringing the subject up right and left.

And just because I think homosexual behavior is immoral does not mean I hate or judge those who are homosexual...I have a view and a right to express that view and a moral obligation to do so in a respectful manner, but I am not going to sugar coat it either.

BUT...there are those who are hateful and don't know what the heck they are talking about...unfortunately, they are everywhere and represent all views...but please don't confuse those morons with people who may simply disagree.

I like this question. People are definitely born gay.
There's obviously something to it if a guy feels more comfortable with another guy. Same goes for female. Most gay couples have the "male" and "female" role.
Falling in love with the opposite gender is a natural phenomena.
Why can't the same be said about the same gender.
If a gay or gal falls in love with someone of the same gender, can he/she helps it?
You cannot MAKE yourself fall in love, can you?
Interesting for those who believe in ressurection: Can one say that a gay man might have been a woman in his previous life?
Lots of facts and fictions evolves around this issue.
I am heterosexual and I think gay people are wonderful.

For the homophobia, read this:

I look at it like this. I don't have a problem with gay people. As long as the females don't try to hit on me, then we cool. Some people to take my niceness for curiosity and that bugs me though. But other than that, what they do is their business. Just leave me out of it.

Because humans are "wired" to dislike, avoid or mistrust what they don't understand. Some people don't know anything about the subject. They just accept the current negative prejudice of others.

Here's what the American Psychological Association thinks about sexual orientation:

i don't believe in gay but i also think that everyone has a right to do and say what they want. No one should Judge someone before they know them (don't judge a book by its cover) treat people the way you want to be treated blah blah blah too bad it rarely happens Hmmm

WHY CAN"T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG
