Why do they chant "Death to America"?

Read any tragedy that happens to terrorist supporting nations and you will hear of mobs chanting death to the United States and/or burning our flag.
Sometimes the suffering brought upon them is from their own people, like the suicide bombers in Iraq. Yet these people are so brainwashed by their own clerics that everything is the fault of the United States.

I think you answered your own question - they have been brainwashed to think that all the problems in the world are caused by the United States. Just like religious fanatics are brainwashed into thinking that all the world's problems are the result of god being "mad at us".

1. US is the only country that can lead anti-terrorist world coalition. Europe is week and has already about 10% of Muslim population. Russia has its own financial and Geo-political interests and will sell anything anybody, who pays best. Who else? So, USA is a main threat.
2. US is reach and powerful. Why some Muslims try to emigrate to US if they hate us so much? They want to live here, but they want that US changes as they wish.
3. This time US is staying against them. I do not remember that Muslims in Serbia chanted "Death to America", when our planes bombed Slavic cities. And the same Taliban liked us when we supplied arms and military consultants to fight with Russia.
4. They need good visible external enemy. Israel and US fit well this picture. How else can you explain to poor starving Syria Arab why Israeli Arabs have more than he has. Kill Jew, kill American - and you will get everything you need.
5. They have nothing to do, but show their rage. High unemployment and low social level do not give many opportunities for self-identification.
Disclaimer. When I say "Muslims" I definitely do not mean all the Muslims. I just label the certain category that mostly affiliated with this religion.

Sorry bro (or sis), you’ve got it all wrong. . . the people of Islamic nations or as most Americans know them the terrorists are simply religious extremists how believe strongly in the Koran, their version of the bible. The Koran sates that one must take action against those who oppress the believers of Ala, their God. The united states has a long history of oppressive and imperialistic actions against other nations and many such nations exist in the middle east. These people are not brainwashed, they are simply aware of the oppressive acts of America, they believe that American and any white influence has manipulated and exploited them since the time of the crusades. . . Although the actions may not be morally just to our standards they are simply following their own beliefs and revolting against the number one imperialist nation in the world. . the U.S.

Muslims want to get rid of "fitnah". Qutb, an Islamic scholar, describes the world government under Islam as utopia. America is constitutionally tolerant to all religions.

It is because of Western policies against Muslim Nations.
If you consider history and review deep policy propaganda by the Americans and if you have a little knowledge then you can understand the hidden reasons.
People were not brain washed and question and the expalanation means you have very very little world political knowledge.
Western Arrogance, suporting Israel Terrorism, Try to spread our own ugly culture (in terms of having sex with anyone and with anything, nudity, pornography, incest, etc., etc.,) worldwide.

All the medias and popular satellite news channels are controlled by westerners which spread falls information with their own regions and around the world.
When you suppress, irrespect more a community and the killings of defenceless people leads to hate westerners and some hardliners attack western interests and that is what westerners expect to capture the videos and spread the falls propaganda as the Muslims are criminals and terrorists.
But the GOD only knows who are terrrorists and how long will they survive in the world.
The chant "DEATH TO AMERICA" means American suppressions towards them, forcibly pushing their culture, hindering their knowledge gain, techonology and economic growth for decades.
When the people realize and talk against American policies, it should be portrayed and spread as terrorist nation and an Axis of Evil country.
But the real Terrors are Americans and the Dictating Empireship will fall one day with the effort of GOD.

It's not a nice thing to say about any country, but it's interesting that so many nations can chant such a thing and yet you still think that it's them that's got to be wrong.
Perhaps not every other nation in the world believes yours is the best? Perhaps they believe the US shouldn't be throwing it's weight into every conflict?

I reckon, your so right. They have been chanting that ever since I was about 6, I am 27 now. These are obviously terrible men, who deserve liitle respect, their followers are so afraid they must do as they are told..or many bad things will happen to them and/or their families. We live in a irrational world and I guess we all wait for it to grow and construct the peace we all deserve.
