theres this guy. he's absolutely amazing. he's like my best friend. i'm confused because i think i should love him, and i think i should want to be with him, but i flatly don't. is this normal?

Yes this is normal. You like him as a friend. I do it all the time. You just think he's a great friend but as far as a serious relationship..its just not like that. Its natural to feel this way.
