theres a couple places depends on your tastes if you like the harsh wilderness with a rugged feel fairbanks is your place. if you like something mild with lush greenry and wonderfull places to hike try near mount rainier washington. if you like the whole beach scene try carlsbad california and if you like the tropics kona beach in the big island hawaii

Malia, Crete (the island off the coast of Greece). If you have the funds go there immediately. You will want to stay forever. Fly into the Heraklion airport. You can drive Crete in a day. See the island of Santorini. It's just so beautiful, peaceful and the food is delicious.
