i want to try a desing before host on the internet. how could i do with this localhost?

localhost refers to your machine... if you are running a server on your machine, eg an http server, you can access it either by giving the ip address of your machine or by giving localhost.

eg http://localhost:8080 or http://123.456.34.40:8080

localhost is 127.0.0.1 which is also called LOOPBACK ADDRESS. It is the general IP Address of each computer.

Your TRUE host address is your IP Address, which can be found on properties of your TCP/IP.

In RUN, type: PING 127.0.0.1

You can also use in Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer like: \\127.0.0.1
