Reality Check - - a Kilt is no different than wearing a pair of pants. It depends on the Man. A majority of Scots wear underwear under their kilts Boxers or Briefs. Just like millions of Americans. Jockey shorts too. And some a Jock-Strap simply because they like to keep the package tight & tidy. You might be surprise how many wear Jock-Straps because they wear Panty Hose, and panty hose is simply cruel to unprotected Manhood - - and Scots wear pantyhose for much the same reasons that sports plays wearing pantyhose - - support & warmth - - many will simply say that they are wearing hose. And yes, some just let it hang free.

Going Commando in summer is one thing. I'm sure the Scots of olde wore something to keep out the draft in winter. I'll bet that most modern Scots don't wear kilts on a daily basis.

Not a Scot - but love kilts. I own one that I wear frequently tot he bar and I do wear it in the 'traditional' manner. Why would anyone attempt to prevent their 'business' from being exposed? Might as well just wear regular pants or shorts then....

The weight of the kilt alone is more than enough to keep exposure down to a minimum. Add the effect of the sporran (the purse thing at the front) and the upshot is that their bits will only be exposed when they want to.

We don't mind our geanitalia or buttocks being exposed at all. In fact its traditional to expose yourself as a way of greeting people. "Hi there" (lift up our kilts and flash our bits). After that we usually congregate in a barn and play bagpipes and eat haggis washed down with some whiskey!

Every Scottsman I have ever seen has been extreemly well endowed so they don't really care if they show off a bit by accident or by design. LOL
In fact those stories about african americans BAH
Scotts have nothing to worry about as far as competition is concerned.

Actually, I don't think they are particularly concerned about it showing flopping in the wind...worse things happen daily. WE all look remarkably similar when the 'chips' are down. Perhaps it is only in America that we make so much of so little (literally).

You see women in skirts every day. What should a man in skirt do different than the ordinary woman?!
