I loved it. I thought it was an awesome movie in every aspect, and I especially loved the actors/actresses and scenery. The movie was beautifully made in my opinion. And anyone who's hatin because the main actress was Chinese instead of Japanese needs to shut up (it's just beacsue no Japanese actresses would do the part). She did a wonderful job btw.

I enjoyed it. however the e book is a lot greater helpful they replaced a number of issues. I wish i'd have examine the e book in the previous i observed the action picture somewhat of any different way around . yet became a solid action picture.Totaly nicely well worth the 9 greenbacks

Absolutely! very beautifully portrayed! I read the book and like in all book movie cases, movie not the same as the book but still very good and vivid images of the foreign culture.

It was lush, beautiful and romantic portrait of Asian culture as seen through Western eyes. It showed how a small act of kindness can send out many ripples and transform another's life.

Well I thought it was good, but at the same time very depressing, until maybe the end, everyone seemed to be very selfish, and hardly and anyone showed her any true kindness.

No, it wasn't very authentic. The dance scenes were laughable, Onsen don't sport tiki-torches, and there's no forests of dead looking trees in Japan. I enjoyed the book though.

I think it was very moving and it had the impact of storytelling that you get whilst reading book.

It was pretty good to me. I thought it was too damn long, but over-all it was well made and nice to watch.
