Bad question.not enuff data. But i will try to answer. The sky is a visual image that we can see, with our eyes or cameras/instraments!Even looking up frome one place on earth, our limited visual powers only can give an maximun 180 degree look at the sky.A better query would be what is the shape of the complete earths atmosphere.the answer.would be Roughly spherical, and layered by clouds ,gases, particles{dust etc}.there are thinner layers at different places on the earth.

Sky is nothing but a portion of the space. Since the atmosphere is gravitated by the earth it is also as irregular elliptical shape as the earth. On the otherhand the light of the sun and other objects strike the atmosphere and contributed to the color of the sky. Then the shape of the sky visualized to us as spherical (more accurately elliptical).

Wouldnt it be a sphere with a hole in the middle? The view that we have of the sky is so small that it encompasses everything that we see upward, but the overall shape surrounds the earth. There is an atmospheric barrier that separates 'sky' from space, and this is in the shape of a sphere. So, sphere, with a hole in the middle, is how I would describe the shape of the sky.

The sky is not really a thing so it doesn't have a shape. It is just a way to describe what is above us and can be clouds, space, or light refracting in our atmosphere. Other than that I'd say it's shaped like a bowl of fruit(not just the bowl).

Irregular globe. The sky - or atmosphere, as astronomers would call it, is simply a collection of gasses clinging to our planet. In some areas they are weaker (less air) and in some places they are stronger. Thus there are bumps and valleys and flat areas of gas particles. As you go out toward space, these particles get farther and farther apart (thinner air) causing this globe to look more fuzzy at the edges.
However, from a general view, it's about the same shape as the earth, just a little more undefined in areas.

it is roughly a hollowed out oblate spheroid.
Like the earth itself, the it is not quite spherical - it bulges out more around the equator than the poles due to the spin of the earth. The official name for this shape is an oblate spheroid. Since the earth sits in the middle of the atmosphere, it is hollowed out (where the hollow portion is roughtly an oblate spheroid since the earth is an oblate phseroid but does not have a regular surface).

the sky is round, since the earth is round, and there is only one sky. Since the sky is so big, you can only see one portion of it. If you could see the whole, it would just be a circle around you

spherical...because the earth is spherical and the sky covers the earth.
