Once you eat all the white dots, do you HAVE to eat the cherries? And how do you end the game, do you have to reach the center? Sorry.. little outdated... :D

No, you just have to eat the white dots. Once you eat the last dot, it goes to the next level, you don't need to get back to the center. I don't think you HAVE to eat the cherries, but they're like bonus points or something, so why not either them?

No, you don't have to eat the cherries, the cherries are there for a short period of time to boost your score. The end of the game comes when you beat all the levels. You don't have to reach the center.
