I watch Hell's Kitchen faithfully.
I find Gordo to be very rude and his temper outrageous. I don't understand how its possible that one of the competing chefs hasn't gone after him with the biggest butcher's knife they could find.
The funny thing is that I think he's mean on the show for ratings. On his "reward" outings he's a completely different person. He actually seems nice then.
I don't see why he get's offended when flipped off by Garret, but has no problem insulting a customer and telling her to get her breasts off his table.

Yes......because I understand his work ethic, and his standards for great cuisine. He is more than "over the top!", but I would win him over.......or at least be able to kick his butt after he put down my cooking. I am that great of a cook. The chefs he got this season are so lacking!

I know cooks. I have been a cook. If any chef tried acting like that, it would take one saturday night dinner rush before he got stabbed by everyone on the line.

I'd be fine for a file, but eventually I'd get sick of it and probably end up knocking the crap out of him. By the way I'm big enough and strong enough to pick up an average size person and drop them on their head. 6'5" and I can easily lift 250 pounds above my head.
By the way, the lady that dumped his food and slammed the tray on him is my hero.

I think you are talking about his TV persona. I'm sure he is a very nice chap really. You've got to admit that he knows his stuff in the kitchen.

I think he is a douche bag. He needs to lighten up cooking as a profession should not be a scary thing. He makes people change there minds about what they want to be in life once they get a chance to work with him

Ramsay is, not only one of the most brilliant minds of the kitchen, but an endless source of entertainment. I'd kill to work for him...
