The kind that you see on desks and in offices. There are usually 5 or so in a line. They hang from strings and you pull the end one up sort of and then you let it go and it swings to hit the others and the one on the other end moves and it goes back and forth for a while. They are usually made of metal or sometimes they have other things on the end (like dolphins I've seen sometimes). Anyway what is this called and where do you buy it? especially the kind that have dolphins or other creatures.

oh my bad, the kinetic art is the dolphin kind and then newton's cradle is the ball swing kind. two different things.

Newton's Cradle, it is based upon Newton's laws of motion. I have seen them at specialty houseware stores, but most of those type stores near me closed. Maybe Spencer's has them, if that type of store is around you.

office stores have them so do specialty stores like the ones you get gag gifts at.They are called swinging balls or stress reducers.
