I am trying to make a sugar scrub for skin and body and I was going to use almond oil. Is there a difference in sweet almond oil and just plain almond oil?

I believe a "sweet almond" is a variety of almond, so they are not saying they added sugar to the oil to make it sweet, but that it was pressed from that kind of almond.

The Spectrum Naturals bottle says "Almond Oil" on the large type which is what is used to choose the bottle; what you would call the "label" in general terms. But if you read the fine print, it says, "Ingredients: 100% Pure Pressed refined sweet almond oil."

So I would conclude that sweet almond oil is the "usual" kind, and it is being contrasted with bitter almonds.
