i believed that leaders wer not really born but they were molded by experiences that makes their potential to be a leader

Leaders can be born if they inherit their power, such as a prince becoming a king or a rich kid being given the family business. But that doesn't say anything about the quality of their leadership. To be an effective leader, one must learn or be taught traits that allow them to be apt. Great leaders must walk the tightrope of being in touch with those they lead and recognizing the differences between them and their subjects.

It could be both I guess, but mainly from birth.
If a person had a good genetic setup to be a leader, it would still depend on whether or not such ideals were suppressed at an early age.
If they were, then he or she would have to be taught to overcome them...either by his/herself or someone else. A leader could break free without much difficulty.

They are born but their level of leadership must be taught, hence we have good guys and bad guys. This doesn't make them good or bad leaders just shows the learned behavior

Taught, although not in the traditional "school" sense. They have to be raised in a way that they are able to lead. This requires empathy, confidence, and intelligence.
