Yes. I had a friend do ear candling on me, and although I did not get permanent relief from my persistent deep ear itching, it did feel good.
My friend uses them regularly on her children and reports that her daughter's persistent ear infections have since totally stopped.

This is not a good idea, since wax can be left inside the ear canal, ultimately causing further trouble or even an infection. It is best to use simple soap and water to clean ears. This can be done very effectively by holding the ear up to the shower and flushing it out with soapy water.

if properly used ear wax candles do help. the heat pulls stuff from deep inside the ear without the trauma of q-tips (they pack it anyway) most herb shops or health food stores stock them , as for the absurd warning the FDA issued, they do not want complimentary medicine to be successful because a health population would put them the AMA and the drug companies out of work.

My dad used to use the ear wax candles. He had major ear issues when I was a kid. He said it didn't help much, but then again he would go to the DR and they would get out crazy black crud!

Don't go near ear candles. There is no evidence they actually do anything - apart from cost you money.

If you have a problem with your ears (or you think you need wax removed) see your family doctor or an Ear, Nose & Throat doctor.

I have used lots of home remedies but this is one I have not used ..I use the garlic oil for ear aches ect. use caution when using the candles I know lots of people who swear by them just make sure you know what you are doing or have a alternative practitioner do it for you.

definite!! they're spectacular. it is extra attainable to do it once you've someone with you to mild it and supervise. I placed a hollow by the middle of a paper plate and placed the candle by it in case something drips. I lay on my area and do one ear, then the different. I hear extra ideal and experience extra ideal once i'm executed. Plus, slicing open the candle once you're executed and seeing the airborne dirt and dirt that got here out of your ears is staggering!

Yes. It's a waste of time. Totally psycosematic. It does nothing and is potentially dangerous.
You're better off spending your money on ear drops.
