Note: evolution and christianity are not mutually exclusive. The head of the Episcopal Church of the USA just gave an interview with Time magazine saying the same thing. That said, people on both sides think they're on the side of truth. The religious fundamentalist, however, is threatened by what they perceive as a crumbling of their whole belief system -- their hopes, their identity, etc. Given this, they can't allow even the smallest doubt or to entertain ANY other thought system because they think it will rip the whole foundation away and they'll be left alone and without anything. The truth is the opposite -- God is found when rigid attachment to concepts as ends in and of themselves is dispensed with.

I spent 15 years claiming i was atheist. Got degrees in chemistry and nursing, /w minors math, physics, computer programming, blah'blah'blah.. The more real science I learned ,the more i realized that i had to become a Christian, so I did. All that atheist tripe is just a bunch of lies from people who want to hide from God and think if they can disprove anything of God,then they dont have to believe.. There is a truth that goes beyond those lies,"Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ Is Lord to the glory of God The Father". All will bow, either in this life or the next-- after it is too late.. It's thier choice so i feel sorry for the stone headed who refuse to accept the free gift of salvation from Christ Jesus...

I am spiritual, and NOT Christian, although I was raised Anglican. I did my own search, as everyone must. My beliefs aren't on the map.
