Businesses supply funds for political campaigns, in return politicians do businesses favors. The common man gets shafted! It's a totally sick system.

this is the george bush theory of economics:
business and industry lobby the government for "favors"
politicians pay more attention to people who give them money
said "favors" are done in the name of advancement

and that is how they are related to government...

Because these are the ones lining the pockets of said government. Since the beginning these rich folks have been whispering to the elected officials. And now we are reaping their rewards.

Money! Taxes paid,contributions made. The more of both they give,the better the chance of positive gov't. response.
