I am not sure what firearm you have. If it is a pump action it could be a Winchester 62A, 1890, 1906 or a 62. These rifles where all offered in .22WRF the model 61 was also offered in .22 WRF. I hope this helps. I am curious about the date/ model # you give for the rifle. I wounder if it could be a patent date. The Winchester Repeating Arms Company started out as the Volcanic Repeating Arms Company. The founders Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson around 1886 gave controlling stock interest to Oliver F. Winchester for outstanding debts owed to him. Winchester reorganized under the name New Haven Arms Company. In 1887 The company was reorganized and incorporated as Winchester Repeating Arms Company. The company has switched hands several times since the 1880's but the name still survives to this day. If you get me some more information I will try and help you with identification and pricing for this rifle. Good luck

According to the wikipedia, the first Winchester was introduced in 1866. There were no rifles by Winchester before that.
"The first model, the Model 1866, was nicknamed Yellow Boy because of its brass receiver. The Model 1873 was Winchester's next design."
